Operasi Hari Jadi... yang tak jadi..

Another update! 

Yeapp.. I am on a roll. =)

So, what's it this time?! BURTHDAYz! Christian and Stacey's birthday fell on the 22nd of July which was a tuesday and sadly we didn't get the sabo / surprise them in anyway. But! Behind the scenes apparently Amanda and Grace were cooking an idea up..

24th July 2008

6PM

Location: Amanda's house.

Bought Mc Donalds for the "Prep Team". With balloons and scraps of paper strewn all over the floor the place was quite a mess. Gloria's on the couch snoozing, apparently feeling quite sick at that moment. I came in with the food totally clueless on what they were trying to do. My intial guess was that they wanted to deco up the place with balloons and various artistic pieces of random art! 

So for the next hour or so I was blowing balloons. Like 10 to 15 of them? 

Time: 8PM

Location: Christian's House

So! Heh Im gonna get out from the first person style and go straight to the point. Pardon my terrible memory, but I can't really remember who I picked up.. or whether I picked anyone up for that matter... i think i did. O_o

The moment "we" arrived at Christians place we could smell.... the stench... i mean the fragrance of a wonderful aroma.... familiar, heavy and pungent durian. Yeah it was pretty bad. 

We went in and there was like... this "chicken rice" looking mount of packed durians. I was like whoa. COOL! First and foremost I didn't know that we weren't gonna have cg teaching, apparrently it was FREE CG. Honestly I was pretty surprised that Chris had NO IDEA that we were planning something for him and he totally unknowingly played with our plans.

Pearly, our latest addition... maybe? haha. Was welcomed to teh CLAN, i hope she felt welcomed.  =) Then we ATE. Man, was it goooood. I haven't had durian in a VERY LONG time. So, it was good lah.... ahah. Rememebr we talked about mango's vs. durians? How to compare, king of fruits vs. mango?? hahaha.

So, we had a very fun-ny time of eating. To those of you who remember. It was a LAUGH. Gotta love cg. *ahahhaa*.

Then it was a contemplative time of "trying to get out from the house- to go and surprise them". I dunno about you, i felt that all of us were on a different wavelength. (OF COURSE, all of us KNEW that the party was going to happen.... just that well perhaps people forgot? AHhahaha.. 

Yeah we kinda burst the bubble with nice ideas like..

"Hey lets go to an aircon place"... "Why? here also got aircon what!" - Points at the aircon.

"Eh, come lah lets go mamak" .. "Eyeerr.. Why go mamak.. Food not nice".

"Come lah, lets go somewhere and play uno!"... "Hah? Lazy lah.. can play Uno here also.."..

You get the picture. 

We all ran in totally different directions till the point where Christian went to the back and Grace reminded everyone of our plan...

(very loud) "OHHHHHHHHHHHH.... OKay guys lets go!"..

hahaha.. Funnier thing, everyone left the house at the same time.

We were supposed to surprise Stacey together (though she was in on the plan, she didn't know she had her name written on the cake..) but...

(Disclaimer: Not exactly as it happened)

Stacey: "Eh, I wanna help out also lah. Nothing to do now"

(I feel so dumb now..)

Me: "Oh, its okay... go to the back and help lah, they're preparing the cake".

(Stacey walks up to the back..)

Me: (in my head) "OH SHUCKS!!......."

(but i was too late)

Gloria: "Ehhh! Stacey you're not supposed to be here!!!"

(Can totally see Stacey's gleaming face looking at the cake) ahhahaa ..

On the other hand of things, Angel was driving Chris up the wall... i meant... around D.U. Yeah just to disorientate him from actually know where he was being driven to. So he was blindfolded, and came in through the doors (whole house had its lights turned off). And we un-blindfolded him (got such thing ah?) and TADA!!!!!

The Penang Story =P

Totally understand the cringing and nail biting update that this blog requires heh.

ITS BEEN FOUR MONTHS! So i apologize... (hears all of you sing.. "its too late to apologize... its too late"...

ANYWAY... heh heh..

PENANG Trip FiRsT..

Happened on the ... can't remember... someone please comment =P. But in any case, we HAD A LOAD OF FUNS (yes spelling error intended). So, what did we do??

It was planned that we meet up at church or something early in the morning, i think we talked about 5 or 6 in the morning. Which of course didn't happen lah. Due to... unfor... sleeping circumstances, and a funny event.

More on the funny event, I picked stacey and jo up. AND GUESS WHAT HAPPENED!?! I thought i lost the shell card (a gasoline card that church gives when we get the van). SUPER PANIC MAN! Tried searching all over the van for it, went BACK HOME for it. Grace told me she didn't wanna go, so it was quite an opportunity for Stace and Jo to "encourage" her to come. Sadly, she was immovable. Literally, :P. And FINALLY AFTER my 93 year old GRANDMA's BRILLIANT idea of a torchlight. WE FOUND IT! YAY! (it was slipped in between the seat and the buckle for the safety-belt ..)

So after that we met up and Prisgi... i mean Priscilla's place. And headed off. 

The 5 hour or so journey was not so eventful... yeah no blowing up of cars, highjacking, shoot-outs, carpet bombing, sabo-ing, end of the world kinda thing which includes UFO's.. (pronounced "oooofohs"). Ah well. We DID have a cinematic moment with LORD of the RINGS soundtrack whilst traveling through some mountains. That was about it.

Arrived there and checked in, stashed our stuff in the rooms then headed out for lunch. Where did we go ah... Gurney drive or something right? O_o? Hahaha.. I can't remember!!! Oh noes.. Wait.. 

Yes! (writing this after the bananaboat thingy).. I rememba! We went to eat char kuay teow.. wah that rocked man.. Then went for more random food which i realllly cannot remember now.. 

Well.. =P, we ate then WE WENT TO THE BEACH.. yeah that rocked. Only reason i went to penang anyway. heh heh heh. We went on the banana boat, volleyball.. beach volleyball. FRIZBEE, and other random things.. Like pulling people into the water and "Spot THE JELLY" gameshow. All in all, funniest moment was...

"On the banana boat.." (brrrrrrrr. engine sound, with the wind on your face...) Then suddenly the boat stops... And we're all going "huh?" We looked to the last seat on the banana boat and we noticed.. "Where did Priscilla go??" HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA... yeah she fell off during the ride somewhere. Good fun.

After all that was DINNER. Well i thought KL food was better =P.

Night....

Priscilla's birthday.... yeah it was pretty random, we had a sabo? Did we? And uh. yeah presentation and cake! =). Too bad noone took a group photo. tskkkk.. all wanna eat the fondu and cake only...

Next morning...

AWESOME DAY MAN this one... i was like WHOA. Too bad I didn't take a photo of the view from the balcony.. it was Awesomeeeeeeee. Clear skies, good breeze and BEACH! And thats what we did... 

Chris went on the parachute thingy, paragliding? And went with Angel on the jetski. Haha that was a funny story too. Shermayne (spelling correction pls) lost her cap or something and they found it in the middle of the sea during their jetski session. AHaha.. how cool is that??

Had lunch at some mega hawker centre or whatever its called. That was good. Cheap and good. Tried a whole ton of stuff. Walked the "mall" or whats of it and we headed home.

Some trip huh? =)
